November has been super crazy and I know December is probably going to be worse, but I had to share my daughter's silliness.
I've been trying to teach The Girl charity and giving, but it's hard when you don't have any extra. We have sorted through her toys and gave the ones she didn't want to "other children" aka Goodwill and now that the Salvation Army buckets are out I told her that it was so other children could have nice warm coats and Christmas presents and I gave her some coins to put in the bucket. We went to Walmart today and as we pulled in parking spot she saw the lady ringing the bell and asked if she could put some money in the bucket. Since I wanted to see if my lesson was sticking I asked her, "What is that money for? What do they do with the money we give them?"
The Girl screwed up her face, thought for a moment and said, "It's for robot eyes!"
Umm, okay? I think we have more to talk about ...
makes me smile!
