It's Christmas Time!

We went to the Winter Wonderland downtown last night.  It was great.  We saw Stormtroopers, Olaf (which Fiona and Declan adored) and Claire, Chandler and Fiona got fencing tips from a Scottish highlander.  It was a lot of fun!

  

And we got our tree today! We went to old a great, small, you cut tree farm.  We had a little bit of excitement when the tree went flying off the roof of the van as we were driving down the highway!  Poor Daddy ran into the road to grab it.  We’ve never had that happen before!  We decorated when we got home.  Claire and I put the lights on while Daddy worked on outside lights and we could have done a better job, but the kids love it and that's all that matters.  It looks very Christmasy in here!

She's growing up!

We had an awesome Christmas party this morning with our homeschool co-op. Claire and Chandler went home with friends so I have no big helpers! But Fiona just went on and on all the way home about the Christmas party. I heard all about the yummy cupcake she ate, that she hid behind the Christmas tree, that she played tag with her friend Mia and Mia was "tag" ("Do you mean Mia was It?" "Yeah! Mia It!"). She is at such a fun age!

Declan took his first steps!  Then he was laughing too hard to do it again!  Now he's being all stubborn and crawling. And Daddy had just pulled down the driveway and just missed it by about 3 minutes. He's very disappointed.
