First Snow!

We woke up to 5 1/2 inches of snow!  THe kids spent most of the day going in and out and in and out, sledding and playing.  They LOVED that Nicholas was home to sled with them.  What a fun day! 

Snow! And it's gone ....

In the morning it started snowing and it was perfect playing snow!  I sent the kids right out and told them we would do schoolwork after Snow P.E.!  They were so excited and I'm glad I sent them out because after lunch the rain started and it was all gone.  At least they had their snow fun! 

Afterwards they came inside and drank hot chocolate while doing their schoolwork.  Perfect day or what?  And while they were outside Declan "helped" me organize Fiona's bedroom.  Hurray!  All she needs is curtains (which I have the fabric, I just need to sew them) and her room will be all set!

It's Declan's first snow!  He loved it and had so much fun! 

 They all did!  It was so fun to see all four of them playing outside in the snow. 

Chandler's Birthday and Snow Part Two!

Chandler woke up on his birthday to six inches of snow!  We went outside and played all morning and he said it was the best birthday ever.  He told me that God gave him an awesome birthday present.

Snow Round One

We FINALLY had snow this winter!  It's been a little frustrating to just have bitter cold weather and no fun stuff.  And this was the first time Fiona got to go play in the snow!  She loved it!

Well, we are expecting more snow tomorrow - which happens to be Chandler's 6th birthday!  He's very excited.  He says that the snow is his birthday present from God.  Silly boy!  They say we could expect anywhere from 4-9 inches so it may be a big gift!  

Yes, I'm still alive!

It's been a while, it's been kind of crazy here. We had lots of snow, which meant Unlabeled Daddy was out of work and we were all housebound. Then he was temporarily laid off for a week. Ugh. In the middle of all this Little Man got sick. This was is first real illness and he's not a "nice" sick person. Oy. Very whiny, clingy and demanding and then we had to deal with the post-sickness brattyness. You know "Why can't you treat me like this all the time?". Daddy went back to work yesterday and I'm still trying to get everyone back into the routine. Wish me luck!
