We Have Tadpoles!

Our frog eggs have turned into tadpoles!  At first they just laid around the tank for the first few days/week and we worried that they were dead, but then they became active.  Now they are eating everything and growing big!  We give them goldfish food and boiled romaine lettuce to eat, but they are very hands off.  We have them at a low table in the dining room and Fiona and Declan love watching them!

With rocks for them to hide and to climb on when they start growing little legs.

This has been a lot of fun so far!

Homeschool Science Project: Frog Eggs

Look what we have!

Someone from our homeschool co-op found a bunch in a pond near their house and brought some to share.  Several of us have little frogs growing in our houses now!
